Josie Kristine Howick Turns Eight! March 20, 2012

When I asked Josie what she would like to do for her birthday, She said she would like to go for a hike. We went to the Dollar Tree and got some cute little water bottles and treat bags for her and her friends. She invited her friends from Gunnison and Manti and had a great time with them....  snow and all.  Happy Happy Birthday sweet girl, you deserve the best of the best! I love ya!

We had mini cupcakes....   It barely held her 8 candles...LOL.

We made this very special poster to share with Josie's class for her birthday.  It is gobbed with pictures of sweet Josie and lots of special things about her. 

There are so many special things about Josie, but here are the things that she shared with her class......

*I have big beautiful eyes and they are special because I can flip one eye up and one down (she demonstrated for her class and they were very impressed).

*I like to fish.

*I am a quiet girl.  I like to giggle.  My favorite stuffed animal is named "Giggles".

*I like flowers, skirts and getting my hair curled.

*I love and miss my dogs Harley, Butch and Sundance.

*When I grow up I want to be an artist and a vet because I love to draw and I love animals.

*I love my family!  I have a Mom and Dad, 1 Sister, 2 brothers, 2 step-sisters and a step-mom.  I have lots of Grandmas and Grandpas and cousins, Lots of people that love me!

*I like to hike, be with my family, draw, do cartwheels, color and be outside playing.  I like to build forts and climb trees.

*June 17, 2009 I was run over by a tractor and was life flighted to Primary Childrens Hospital.  I got to ride in a helicopter.  I was blind for a couple of hours and had a grade 5 lacerated liver.  Im a lucky lucky girl to be alive and have healed completely.

*My favorite colors are blue, green, brown and black.  These are nature colors.

* My Nicknames are....  Jo-Jo, Jo, Jose, Jozee, Josephine, Jobie, Jobie One Kanobi :-)

Josie woke up early and came into my room and asked in the sweetest little voice ever..."Will you please curl my hair pretty for my Birthday?"  and isnt she beautiful?  She wore her Birthday tiara in her hair all day.

Brooke's BIG 33!!!!! Happy Birthday Girl!

I think Brooke thought we all hated her today.....  Poor girl!  I told her I was too busy and couldnt do anything and that I would make it up to her later.  Chase said he was gonna go for a ride up the mountain, but wanted to go by himself.  I had my car loaded and all the kids ready to go.  Chase road his motorcycle to my house and we headed up Manti Canyon to set up the good ol birthday party.  When we were ready, Chase called Brooke and told him that he blew up his bike and needed a ride home.  To say the least, She wasnt too happy until she pulled in and chairs were set up, fire was going, streamers were flying from the trees and the kids were screaming "SURPRISE!"  I think she forgave us, it was a good time!

Brooke rode her bike all the way down the canyon road with us hollaring and honking behind her.  It was a good time with lots of laughs.  Im greatful for the friendship we have with her and her kids.  Love ya!
